Library

The library collection is aimed at assisting with curriculum development and implementation by being supportive in all areas of the curriculum and, in particular, aims to:

  • foster an enjoyment of reading and a love of literature by keeping children and staff in touch with a wide range of children’s literature
  • provide resource material which supports all curriculum areas
  • house an appropriate collection of staff resources

The Library is open from 8.30am – 4.00pm daily. Children have weekly library lessons and are encouraged to borrow regularly. Parents are more than welcome to come in with their children to assist with borrowing. The Library has many exciting events during the year, such as Book Week and hosting visiting authors. The Adelaide Hills Mobile Library also visits fortnightly for students to access.

From time to time parent assistance is required to process new books. Any time that can be given by parents is appreciated as it improves the service that the library can offer to the students.
